About this Group Spiritual Direction Experience
This spiritual direction group will gather on four Sunday afternoons offering the opportunity for attendees to deepen their relationship with the divine, learn and grow spiritually and recognize their ongoing awareness of the divine in all of life. Attendees will be invited to share spiritual experiences and stories from their lives, engage in holy listening, and support one another in this process. Attendees will be led through spiritual practices such as Tonglen, Lectio Divina, Metta meditation and breath practices. This ministry offers the opportunity for greater awareness of divine presence in one’s life.
About the Facilitator
Spiritual Director, Jodi Patton, is a graduate of the spiritual direction certification program at The Chaplaincy Institute Interfaith Seminary and Community in Berkeley, CA. Since 1998, Jodi has been leading classes in mindfulness, meditation, and yoga, and is a Reiki master teacher/practitioner offering all degrees of Reiki training. Jodi currently serves on the First Community congregational care ministry team.
